Draping is a makeup technique sweeping blush, bronzer, and highlighter together across the cheek, temple, and brow bone to create dimension across a wider facial area. Popularized by makeup artist Pat McGrath, the technique treats color placement as cohesive, sculptural statement rather than isolated application.
