Run Location dropdown is clipped when adding a new snippet in Code Snippets 4.0.0 #617
On the Add New Snippet screen, the Run Location dropdown is clipped, preventing access to some execution location options, including the front-end-only option.
When creating a new snippet, the Run Location dropdown is clipped and does not display all available options. The remaining options cannot be accessed by scrolling, and keyboard arrow navigation does not work.
The same dropdown works correctly when editing an existing snippet.
The issue occurs on both production and test sites. Reducing the browser zoom does not resolve it.
Expected behavior
The dropdown should display all available execution locations and allow users to select any option, both when creating a new snippet and when editing an existing one.
Steps to reproduce
Go to Snippets → Add New.
Open the Run Location dropdown.
Observe that the menu is clipped and some options are not visible or accessible.
Open an existing snippet for editing.
Open the same dropdown and observe that all options are displayed correctly.

Possible cause
The parent container on the Add New Snippet screen appears to be shorter than the corresponding container on the Edit Snippet screen, where additional content is displayed below the Run Location field.
The dropdown may be rendered within this container and clipped by its boundaries. This could be related to the parent's overflow property or to the dropdown's positioning within the redesigned interface.
This is a hypothesis based on the observed difference between the two screens, not a confirmed root cause.
Additional information
