Advice sessions for Premium subscribers

Last updated: 4 months ago

Important to know

Hosting an advice session is currently limited to invited LinkedIn Premium Business subscribers in the United States. Bookers don’t need Premium, but they must have a verified profile and be in the United States to book.

Advice sessions let select Premium Business subscribers offer paid advisory sessions directly from their LinkedIn profile. Bookers can book time, pay securely, and join a scheduled session using integrated calendar and payment tools.

Hosts must complete required onboarding (including Stripe setup) before their booking button is visible.

What hosts can do

Eligible hosts can:

  • Add a paid advisory session to their profile
  • Define meeting details such as duration and price (up to $500)
  • Allow bookers to book time within a 30‑day window
  • Accept payments securely through Stripe
  • Receive appointment confirmations and calendar invites
  • Manage cancellations

Hosts must set general recurring availability (for example: Mondays, Tuesdays, Fridays from 2–4 PM). Single‑day or one‑off times cannot be set.

What bookers can do

Bookers can:

  • Select an available meeting time
  • Pay instantly using Stripe Checkout, including Apple Pay
  • Receive a confirmation and calendar invite automatically

Payment and payout details

  • Payments are processed by Stripe. If there’s an issue with a Stripe payment, contact Stripe Support.
  • Hosts must complete Stripe’s identity verification and bank setup.
  • Payouts are delayed by 30 days to support issue resolution. After 30 days, the host receives the total session amount minus Stripe’s platform fee.
  • Stripe charges a processing fee on every transaction. See Stripe pricing for details.

Advice sessions add a structured way to book and manage one-to-one professional sessions directly on LinkedIn.
