Critics Consensus

Incredibles 2 reunites Pixar's family crimefighting team for a long-awaited follow-up that may not quite live up to the original, but comes close enough to earn its name.

Bird laces in subliminal messages, but the main attraction of Incredibles 2 is the focussed storytelling, the clear and uncluttered animation and unadulterated fun.

Brad Bird's Incredibles 2, while a solid follow up, lacks a clear vision of where to take the story next.

What thrilled me the most ... watching these characters do the thing they were born to do [and] fully be themselves instead of repressing something fundamental about themselves.

Incredibles 2 is hardly Pixar’s most ambitious film, but it’s a worthy sequel that takes the studio’s finest family in interesting new directions, while offering enough inventive action to stand out amid an increasingly crowded superhero landscape.

The most important question going into this was, "Is this worth 14 years of waiting?" And, to be fair, it's not.

Great movie for kids and adults. One of my favorites. I could not stop laughing! Truly relatable for those who have kids. I was laughing so hard, the kids in the theater started laughing at and with me. I hIghly recommend this one for a great dose of fun.

A fun if somewhat derivative sequel. My kids really liked it. I appreciated the many relatable jokes about parenting and the dilemmas inherent with raising a family in the modern age.

Animation is incredible (no pun intended). Pretty funny and light-hearted throughout. I thought the story and villain were very weak. Much left to be desired.
