The first in a planned series of shows detailing the Marvel universe, "Daredevil" follows Matt Murdock, attorney by day and vigilante by night. Blinded in an accident as a child, Murdock uses his heightened senses as Daredevil to fight crime on the streets of New York after the sun goes down. While Murdock's day job requires him to believe in the criminal justice system, his alter ego does not follow suit, leading him to take the law into his own hands to protect his Hell's Kitchen neighborhood and the surrounding communities.

interjects a welcome dose of bruised-and-bloodied malice to the sometimes too-cartoony Marvel universe. More promising still, Daredevil is a confident show with a solid foundation on which it can build. Go to Full Review Allison Shoemaker Consequence Jul 13, 2018
Daredevil doesn't always pack the intellectual heft of its sister Netflix series Jessica Jones, but it's a finely acted, well-written, appropriately dark series with some truly dazzling fights. Go to Full Review Liz Shannon Miller IndieWire Jul 13, 2018

Much of the combat in the sequence is hand-to-hand, lending to its raw, urgent quality... Go to Full Review Suchin Mehrotra Film Companion Oct 28, 2020
Easily Marvel's best TV show, Daredevil follows the blind lawyer by day and Hell's Kitchen vigilante by night and offered up terrific fight sequences... Go to Full Review Amanda Greever The Daily Times (Tennessee) Feb 5, 2019
[Vincent D'Onofrio] is amazing as always. Go to Full Review Read all reviews
