The military's brightest minds take on the United States' toughest legal challenges, inside the courtroom and out, in the only law office in the world where every attorney is trained as a prosecutor, a defense lawyer, an investigator - and a Marine. Operating out of Judge Advocate General Headquarters in Quantico, these active-duty Marines are attorneys who have chosen to serve their country in pursuit of military justice at home and abroad, often having to put aside their ideals for the sake of the truth.

While it's a little unfair to call "The Code" the thinking person's "JAG," it does continue "The Good Wife's" conscious, one might even say mindful, engagement with more or less current events, hot-button issues and ethical brain teasers. There's nothing CBS procedurals enjoy quite as much as wasting Broadway stars in roles that don't let them sing. Go to Full Review Daniel D'Addario Variety Apr 3, 2019
The accomplishment of "The Code" may well be its emphasizing just how hard it is to make the military-procedural drama work, and making "NCIS" look great by comparison. Go to Full Review Tim Appelo AARP Movies for Grownups Jul 10, 2019

Executive Producer Craig Turk has a strong track record on such series as The Good Wife and Private Practice. The Code has the potential to become another such riveting series. Go to Full Review Ed Bark Uncle Barky May 3, 2019

The Code, which is both nicely produced and also thoroughly predictable, looks destined to likewise get a Season Two. Go to Full Review Read all reviews

Feb 18, 2020 I really enjoyed the show, good for a family to watch together. See more Nov 25, 2019 Good story lines...Wiill never understand how this one got cancelled ! See more Nov 24, 2019 I think this was a great show. Why are you canceling it? See more Aug 13, 2019 *Tackles Interesting and varied topics. *Upbeat and somehow makes me happy not left morose after it's over like a majority of shows today in order to claim they are "keeping it real'. If I wanted to feel emotionally exhausted and saturnine after the unfortunate mode many shows have adopted today since the killing off of Sean Bean in GOT, I would read the newspaper. *Pleasant, talented, and professional cast which appears to have meshed quickly and well. *I appreciate the show's efforts to dress and groom the characters appropriately. I know for many who are not in the military, we are captivated by all the insignia, bars, medals, and honors displayed in a specific fashion and follow a detailed protocol. However, I do not understand why the show's runner does not have knowledgable military personnel directly consulting and involved with these types of very important details. I believe this would truly help this fascinating and enjoyable show to 5 star for me. See more Aug 11, 2019 I really enjoyed this show because while it is similar to some on air today, it was about US Marines in uniform making a difference. Really sad to see this go. Disappointed USAF vet. See more Aug 7, 2019 Awesome show! Why do you always cancel the shows that people love? See more Read all reviews
