- Amber joined Jalopnik in 2021. Although she covers the broad automotive world, her heart remains with motorcycles and public transit.
- She once held her old Subaru Legacy GT wagon in a stable drift for half a mile of highway, in a blizzard just to avoid sliding into the median.
- Amber managed to pass Ducatis and scare R6es at a track school on her decade-old GS, on $100 tires, in the rain. She's not quite sure how she survived the course either.
Experience
Amber broke free of the enterprise tech marketing world in 2021 and immediately cut loose to Jalopnik. She moved to Brooklyn and bought a motorcycle in hopes of becoming cool, which didn't work, and started blogging about cars, bikes, and the laws that affect them. She's since done everything from electric off-roading to motorcycle track riding and has decided the latter is preferable. Two wheels are good. Stay tuned for more takes.

Amber has a bachelor's degree in new media marketing from the Rochester Institute of Technology.
