Before start with this guide, there is everything you will need:
- A hCaptcha account.
- Our hCaptcha add-on.
Connect BBForms with hCaptcha
1 – In your hCaptcha dashboard, click on your avatar at right-top > Settings.
2 – Navigate to Settings > Secrets and click on Generate New Secret.
3 – A popup will appear indicating that a new Secret Key will be generated. Click on Generate if you don’t have one previously stored.
4 – Copy the generated Secret Key.
5 – Navigate to Sites in the top menu and click on Add Site.
6 – Enter the domain where hCaptcha will be added and click +. Then go to the bottom of the page and click Save.
7 – Copy the Site Key.
8 – Come back to your site, navigate to BBForms > Settings > hCaptcha, paste your Site Key and enter your Secret Key in the fields.
9 – Click on Save Settings button to finish!
That’s all! hCaptcha is now configured and ready to use. To enable it on your forms, simply insert the BBCode [hcaptcha] into the forms where you want it to appear.
