Critics Consensus

Neither scary nor funny, The Haunted Mansion is as lifeless as the ghosts in the movie.

It's an Abbott and Costello film without those likeable comedians, who had a great career in such dumb comedies. Go to Full Review

Nereyda Jaimes Aug 29, 2023 it was funny a great family movie to watch with the kids See more
Benjamin S Aug 17, 2023 It’s first act was mostly dialogue and didn’t really make an effort to establish strong enough emotional motivation, display enough ghostly mischief, or meaningful character interactions. The second act feels like filler. The most it attempts to be entertaining in the first two thirds is a few cgi moments and relying on Tiffany Haddish doing Tiffany Haddish schtick. It becomes actually entertaining after the first hour. See more
