    Analysis

The Brewers hit worse on the road and worse against lefties as compared to righties. The Dodgers desperately need Blake Snell to step up, and he struck out 10 in eight scoreless innings in Milwaukee last year in the NLCS. It's a different Brewers team this time around, but I trust Snell for his strikeouts here.

    Analysis

I'm expecting dual threat QB Brock Glenn to start and to play most of the game (if not all of it) and that will make this Western Kentucky team far more dynamic (last week against Missouri State he tallied 231 passing and 95 rushing yards). As for Sam Houston, it's not just that they haven't played well, but they are also dealing with some injuries on the offensive side of the ball. I don't think the line is fully appreciating the offensive bump that Glenn provides and that's a big reason why I'm on the road team to win this one.

    Analysis

There are two ways to look at tonight in my opinion regarding the starting pitchers. Maybe both are pulled early since the bullpens are both rested. But this is the first of three straight days with games (presuming there is a Game 5). So I think the managers would prefer to see their starters go at least five to help out the 'pens. Our model has Robert Gasser at 5.6 IP. I don't know about that, but he has gone at least 3.2 IP every outing this year but one.

    Analysis

The Brewers have a 2-0 lead in the NLCS, and they send left-hander Robert Gasser to the mound, who has allowed seven runs in his last seven games, with the Brewers winning six of his seven starts. The Dodgers sent two of their best starters out in the first two games, and they lost both games. Shohei Ohtani is not hitting, along with catcher Will Smith. The Dodgers turn to Blake Snell, who had 10 starts this season with an ERA under 2.00, but the Dodgers lost his last start against the Braves, 3-2. That's kind of how I see tonight's game going: a low-scoring game with the Brewers on the verge of a huge leap on center stage. Under is the play.

    Analysis

FanDuel. I’m going to go against conventional playoff wisdom, and back Blake Snell on his strike out prop tonight. We obviously know that Snell is one of the elite strikeout artists in the game, but the potential short leash in a must win game for the Dodgers could create an issue. That being said, I like the fact that Snell is pitching at home today and the Brewers are trotting out a lineup that I do think favors the lefty. Snell has had success against this lineup, including in the postseason last year, and Dave Roberts best bet is to ride his third ace.
